Colombian midfielder Juan Cuadrado has confirmed that he has received a renewal proposal from Juventus, the club where he has played for the last eight seasons, and is confident he can reach an agreement.
“I am very calm and very happy with Juve. They made me a proposal but at the moment I don’t think about it and I told them that we are talking after the selection”, explained Cuadrado from the Colombian concentration in Valenciawhere on Friday Iraq will be measured in a friendly with Mestalla as the setting.
“I feel at home there. I hope we can get along and be able to continue in the elite”, added Cuadrado. In any case, at the age of 34, he made sure that he did not believe that changing Serie A for another league that is not very strong could harm him to go to the national team.
“In the same way, other leagues are growing and if you play, perform and contribute, you can be considered for the call of the Professor (the coach Néstor Lozano). It doesn’t matter if you are in Turkey or Arabia because he has already summoned the players who are in the leagues,” recalled Cuadrado.
