Adrian Mannarinofourth favourite, prevailed in a French duel over Corentin Moutet and he met the German Yannick HanfmanSpanish executioner Feliciano Lopezin semifinals of the Majorca tournament.
Mannarino, the lone surviving seed in the grass-court event, defeated his compatriot 7-5, 6-2 in one hour and 47 minutes. With a title on grass, achieved in Hertogenbosch in 2019, the first of his career, to which he adds that of Winston Salem in 2022, he has already achieved his best record so far this season.
For the fourth time so far in 2023, they have reached the quarterfinals. He did not succeed in the previous ones, but in Mallorca he succeeded in that section and applied as a contender for the title.
Mannarino would play against Hanfmann, which led to the retirement of Feliciano López as a professional, whom he won 6-2, 6-4.
