5 hours after the end of the Austrian F1 GPThe FIA officially announced the final result of this Sunday’s race, with many changes due to the many penalties applied in the event’s provisional classification for violations committed by some drivers by repeatedly not respecting the limits of the track.
The FIA announced the application of the penalty of 5 seconds to Yuki Tsunoda, 10 seconds to Hamilton, Gasly, Albon and Sargeant, 15 to De Vries and 30 seconds to Esteban Ocon.
As a result, Sainz lost two places, given to Norris and Alonso, with the Spaniard moving to 5th position ahead of 6th from Madrid. Within the Top-10, Hamilton went from 7th to 8th position, giving up his spot to George Russell.
