Corinthians fans beat up Luan in an orgy in Sao Paulo

Date:

A group of fans of Corinthians stormed a motel in the city of Sao Paulo early Tuesday and attacked the midfielder Luan Vieiraa player from the São Paulo team who was not used for several months due to his poor performance.

The attack was confirmed by the Corinthians themselves, one of the most popular clubs in Brazil but currently experiencing a bad moment and in danger of falling into the relegation zone in the League, in a statement in which it rejected the “cowardly attack” and He made his lawyers available to the footballer.

According to the Police, the attackers decided to attack the Caribe motel, located in the Barra Funda neighborhood, after being informed that Luan entered the establishment and was at a party with five friends and four women. According to a police bulletin, the beaten soccer player suffered minor injuries to his back and did not need to be hospitalized.

});

A few hours later, Luan published on her social networks the picture of the blood-stained shorts without commenting. The midfielder, signed by Corinthians in 2020, recently requested a new opportunity from the current coach of the São Paulo team, former Brazilian coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo, arguing that he is physically fit to return on the pitch.

Fans are calling for Luan’s ouster

The coach admitted that he is not taking advantage of the player because of the intense pressure from the fans to get him fired from Corinthians. The midfielder, who has a contract with the Sao Paulo club until December this year, has not been in the starting lineup since February last year. In his first two years of contract he played 80 games, in which he scored eleven goals.

In a statement released, Corinthians said they “received with sadness and anger the information that the player Luan was attacked by supposed fans” and they offered him all the necessary support.

In recent weeks, after Corinthians’ early exit from the Copa Libertadores and the Paulista Championship, as well as a poor result in the Brazilian Championship, where it is in 16th place in the standings, the fans of the club has starred in several protests, some not so peaceful.

“After another horrific case of violence, the Corinthians deplore the current moment of intolerance that dominates Brazilian football. There is no justification for the cowardly attack the player suffered,” the note concluded.
