Nadal, who last year was declared champion of the Australian Open and Roland Garros, He has been proclaimed world champion in 2008, 2010, 2017 and 2019.
For his part, Swiatek signed a 2022 to frame. Between February and May he achieved 37 consecutive victories and won six tournaments, including his second Roland-Garros. He then won another Grand Slam, the US Open and ended the year as world number 1, a position he still comfortably holds.
