Room schedules this Wednesday at Wimbledon: Alcaraz and Rune, second turn

Carlos Alcaraz20, is the youngest Wimbledon 2023 quarterfinalist in days, followed by Danish rival Holger Rune.

Vintage 2003, they have known each other since they were 12 years old, when they began to be rivals in the lower categories, as well as teammates in several doubles tournaments. This Wednesday they will make their debut in the Wimbledon quarterfinals, chasing an important semifinal at the ‘Cathedral’.

The No. 1 is already the champion of the US Open, the Scandinavian, No. 6, has never gone beyond the penultimate round of a Grand Slam, having previously only played at Roland Garros, twice.

It’s on center court at the All England Club, second turn. At 2:30 pm, one short of London, the Tunisian enters Ounce Jabeur and the defending women’s title, the Kazakh Elena Rybakinain a repeat of the final of the last edition.

Then, around four in the afternoon, a youth festival in between Alcaraz and Runewith the semifinals rival playing it out on another stage, Track 1, where the Russian will compete Daniel Medvedev and the american Christopher Eubanks.
