CD Tenerife and Montenegrin defender Nikola Sipcic have extended their contract until the 2026-2027 season, following an agreement signed by both parties on Thursday, as reported by the island club of LaLiga Hypermotion (Second Division).
Since his arrival in Tenerife, in July 2019, the blue and white centre-back has accumulated 131 official matches with the blue and white team (121 between league competition and promotion qualifiers, and ten in the Copa del Rey ).
Sipcic, whose contract expires in 2024, made his international debut in Montenegro as a Tenerife player and declared to the club’s official media his “joy and desire” to continue on the island, thus restoring the trust of the entity headed by Paulino Rivero.
