The Unionistas added three points to their locker after a 1-2 win against Sanse on Friday in Municipal Nuevo Matapiñonera. Sanse entered the game with the goal of surpassing their points on the table after suffering a 1-0 defeat in the previous duel against Rayo Majadahonda. For the visiting team, the Unionistas lost 0-1 in the last game they played against Racing Ferrol. Thanks to this result, the team from Salamanca was seventh, while Sanse was eleventh at the end of the game.
The first half of the match started well for the visiting team, who took the opportunity to open the scoring with a goal from Muñoz. After that, the first half ended with a 0-1 result.
After the break, in the second period came the goal for the eleven from San Sebastian, which was matched by Arturo’s goal in the 81st minute. The Unionistas took the lead thanks to a goal by Jesús De Miguel in the 84th minute, which ended the confrontation with a final score of 1-2.
Both coaches made moves on the banks. The Sanse coach brought in Jime, Eneko Jauregi and Carrillo for Ato, Javi Rueda and Dani Molina, while the Unionistas brought in Jorge Mier, Rayco Rodríguez, Edu Cortina, Pablo Espina and Pedraza for Manu Sánchez, Muñoz, De La Nava , Cris Montes and Jesus De Miguel.
The referee showed six yellow cards, four for Ato, Arturo, Dani Molina and Juanra, from the local team and two for Salinas and Rayco Rodríguez, from the visiting team.
With this victory away from home, Luis Ayllón’s team was in seventh place with 55 points, while Marcos Jiménez’s team was in eleventh place with 47 points at the end of the game.
Sanse will face Tudelano the next day and the Unionistas will play against Calahorra.
