When the echo of “I will not resign” said Rubiales, the Government has started the machinery to obtain set aside immediately the president of the Federation from his seat.
The newspaper AS, collects several statements from Victor FrancosSecretary of State for Sports and president of the CSD, in the SER chain, ensures that the CSD will get up soon the five complaints filed with this body up to the Administrative Court of Sport (TAD). Initially it was pointed out that the Government would carry out this procedure on Monday, but the change of attitude of Rubiales will speed it up.
“The complaints are very serious,” Francos assured, not ruling out that the suspension could take place this Friday: “If the TAD meets in five in the morningat ten past five the CSD will announce itself,” he said.
The head of Spanish sport also denied that the Government asked for Rubiales’ resignation: “There is only contacts with your people to do what they have to do.”
