At East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta (Georgia), Hovland closed out the fourth round with a 63-punch card.seven under par, and became, at age 25, the third-youngest FedEx Cup winner.
The Oslo native pocketed an $18 million check after playing an outstanding tournament, in which he finished under par on all four days.
He was unstoppable on Sunday, carding seven birdies, three of them in the last three holes, without a single error.
Schauffele was the best of the day and, with his eight under par, then a second solo. Wyndham Clark closed out the podium, finishing the tournament with an aggregate of -16.
Jon Rahm finished in eighteenth place (-7 overall), after experiencing a very difficult fourth day. He carded 74 shots, four over par, with six bogeys for two bogeys.
