Manchester United unveiled its new and controversial away jersey for this season at an official match today. The classic against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, which coincided with the fourth day of the Premier Lesague, became the scene of this premiere that did not go unnoticed by the fans who witnessed the match.
The shirt in question is from dark green color with white vertical lines and very fine subtle red details. Nothing to do, therefore, with the traditional starting kit, all in red, which has been exceptional in Manchester United’s history.
The new visiting kit of the Mancuniano team is inspired by the past and in its design the Adidas brand pays tribute in the striped shirts worn by its players between 1893 and 1923. United was founded in 1878.
It’s surprising to see the ‘red devils’ wearing a shirt that has already received a lot of criticism from their fans and football fans in general.
Actually the ‘Group 1958’, United supporters’ organization that demonstrated against the management ofand the glazer family, American club owners, took advantage of one of them this summer to protest the terrible shirt for many.
