Manchester City winger Jack Grealish and Liverpool winger Trent Alexander-Arnold have been ruled out through injury for the team’s Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Ukraine this Saturday in Wroclaw (Poland) and on September 12 against Scotland in Glasgow.
Both players arrived at the St. George’s Park today but were released after undergoing tests to determine the extent of the injuries sustained to their teams.
Grealish missed City-Fulham on Saturday and captain Alexander-Arnold was substituted on Sunday in the second half of Liverpool-Aston Villa with hamstring problems.
England top Group C with 12 points from four games, six points ahead of second-placed Ukraine.
