“I struggled a lot in the time trial, but I’m happy with the result. I only lost 20 seconds to Remco. It could have been worse. I’m not going to complain. I’m happy,” said the triple Vuelta winner at the finish line.
Roglic qualified third, 36 seconds behind Ganna, a result that allowed him to finish fourth overall, 1.36 minutes behind his American Jumbo teammate Sepp Kuss.
“Evenepoel is world champion and he is always fast. I felt that I had power and I pedaled a good number. I did my best and I’m happy with my result”, he emphasized.
After the chrono, Sepp Kuss the red jersey came first Marc Soler and Evenepoel.
