This Saturday, the two organizations conveyed their condolences to the families of the victims and the solidarity of all Spanish football with the Moroccan people and their institutions in the face of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Morocco last night and caused the death of more than 630 people.

“Our special relationship, for geographical, historical and sporting reasons, makes us feel this tragedy very closely,” the RFEF said.

Due to the break due to international commitments played these days, in the First Division the minute of silence will be seen in the matches scheduled for next weekend, September 16-17.

“The Royal Spanish Football Federation and LaLiga jointly invite our country’s clubs and fans to join in this respectful minute of silence,” they added.
