“With the resignation of Luis Rubiales, the procedure described in article 31.8 of the current federative statutes begins,” he added.
Article 31.8 states verbatim that “If the President ceases for reasons other than the end of his mandate, the Board of Directors shall be constituted Management Committee and will call an election to fill the position; The one who is elected will occupy the position for a period equal to the time left to be fulfilled by the person to be replaced, and the rule set for article 23.2 of this ordinance will also apply in this matter.”
