NEOM It is a unique land, with endless landscapes and natural formations that leave anyone who visits them breathless. The possibility to ride a mountain bike in this territory is an opportunity provided only by NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia.
If in the 2022 edition the hero is the red sea and kilometers of desert located at sea level, in 2023 the pace will change. A route of four stages, almost 400 kilometers, with more than 4,500 meters of accumulated unevenness and the center of the race is the Titan Mountain Campwhich is located at 1,100 meters above sea level.
But if one word defines NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia 2023, it’s cannons. The rock formations, the product of millennia of erosion produced by the wind, draw dreamlike images, narrow streets and a labyrinth of ocher and earth colors. A wonder to behold and a privilege to explore by bike.
All this awaits more than 200 participants who will start the race on November 14.
VERY DIFFERENT LAND
The first stage is the longest, more than 110 kilometers. A rocky, twisted terrain that would require an effort from titans. Day with two different parts, with a more rolling first section and a more complex and technical second section.
With a new loop around the camp, the second stage is shorter, around 80 kilometers. But that doesn’t make it any harder. It was the most uneven of the entire race, especially in the second half of the stage.
And on the third day will come the stage of the queen, at least in terms of the beauty of the land. The Titans will take their bike through sand canyons, dry rivers and then across long plains. Stage of contrasts, almost 100 kilometers and 1,200 meters of elevation gain. A day not to be forgotten.
The final stage will be known for the Titans repeating from the 2022 edition. About 60 kilometers rolling in the Red Sea, before returning to Athlete’s Village who welcomed them on the first day. Very similar to the one that ended in the last edition.
Almost 400 kilometers of amazing and unknown terrain. An unprecedented challenge for the Titans to begin with. This is NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia 2023.
