A Carlos Sainz who spoke about his state of form, after signing two consecutive pole positions, at Monza and in Singapore, and taking victory from start to finish in Singapore.

“I hope to maintain that level of confidence. I’ve been in that position before in Formula 1, and it’s always important to keep your head down, trying to continue that momentum because it’s always difficult to find them in a competitive environment. ,” he said.

“We have a good chance today, and that’s the goal, to keep our heads down, Singapore is over, and we’re focused on Suzuka,” he added.

With the championship almost in Red Bull’s hands, they are already thinking about 2024 where they hope their team will be “faster. In 2024 it will be a new beginning, because the current car has given us some headaches. In some tracks it can be very fast, but in other races we are not special; like in Singapore with degradation, which continues to be our weak point. Next year hopefully we will be faster in all races,” he commented at the official FIA press conference ahead of the Japanese GP.
