The American Bryson DeChambeau made a great comeback this Sunday and, with a round of eight under par, won the Chicago LIV with a combined score of -13, while the Colombian Sebastian Muñozwho entered the final day as the leader, succumbed to the pressure and saw his chances slip away with a round of two over par.
DeChambeau (63) made nine birdies and one bogey and finished with a stroke advantage over Indian Anirban Lahiri and the Australian Marc Leishman.
Muñoz, who entered the final round with a three-shot lead over the second-place finisher, had five bogeys for just three birdies and had his worst day of the tournament. On Friday he debuted with five under par and on Saturday he got eight under par.
Mexican Abraham Ancer finished fifth, with an aggregate score of -10, while Sergio Garcia (67) is the best Spanish with a total of -8, in 14th position.
