Carlo Ancelotti has announced the call for the opening match, Wednesday, against Las Palmas at the Bernabéu (7:00 pm). The big news is Carvajal, who missed the games against Union Berlin and Atlético due to injury. The full-back is back on a call-up, although it remains to be seen if he will start from the start.
Vinicius also on the list. He was already out of the derby, but was sidelined at the last minute with gastroenteritis which he seems to have recovered from now. As in the case of Carvajal, we will have to see if he starts.
The one who was supposed to compete in Las Palmas but in the end was not Arda Güler. The young Turk was wounded again and joined the Casualties in Courtois and Militao for the match against Las Palmas.
This is what Ancelotti called:
Goalkeepers: Lunin, Kepa and Fran.
Defenses: Carvajal, Alaba, Nacho, Lucas V., Fran García, Rüdiger and Mendy.
Midfielders: Bellingham, Kroos, Modrić, Camavinga, Valverde, Tchouameni and Ceballos.
Forward: Vini Jr., Rodrygo, Joselu and Brahim.
