The Circuit opens with a great podium in keeping with the most modern World Championship layouts. The design of the podium, which remains faithful to the red character of the Circuit, stands as a new symbol of the Circuit, like the Main Grandstand or the scoreboard of their time.

The race direction room has also been modernized. The turn 4 run-off has also been extended and, as every year, more common improvements are being made in response to track maintenance tasks, such as adjusting curbs, adjusting the first line of protection with barriers. tires, which are covered with a “conveyor belt” to prevent their spread in the event of a collision, as well as the removal of “astro turf” in almost all areas.

Circuit changes and the F1 World Championship

The Circuit isn’t the only one that’s brand new. And that’s it F1 came to Barcelona in full swing, with a very strict classification showing many protagonists. The Circuit will promote a wide range of actions outlined in its 3C governance philosophy (awareness, commitment and relevance) on sustainability, integration of social, economic and environmental aspects. Under the slogan “Driving for a better future” it works to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals of the UNEP 2030 Agenda.

These include the use of 100% renewable energy, the donation of food, the use of km 0 gastronomic products, waste management, sustainable conservation of the forest around the Circuit or the use of the circular economy to finance it with other sustainable actions.

Circuit Access

On Thursday, fans can enter at gates 2, 3 and 4 from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. You can park your cars in the A3, C or IN6 parking lots depending on availability.
