Athletic have just released the accounts corresponding to the previous financial year, Jon Uriarte’s first as president of the Bilbao club. The economic team of the Uriarte board also emphasized that the club’s assets reach 105.4 million euros and the treasury reaches 65.8 million. “The Athletic Club presents a budget proposal for the 2023-24 fiscal year aimed at growth, which aims to continue improving revenue (an increase of 9.4 million euros), strengthen investment in Lezama, as well as continue to reduce the structural deficit (16.6 million expected for 2023-24), Ibaigane noted.
Athletic’s operating income during the 2022-23 season is 119.1 million (9.8 million more than the previous year) and operating expenses amount to 123.8 million (3.6 million less than the previous campaign).
