Tensions rose at the Ryder Cup due to an incident between McIlroy and LaCava

The Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy had a tense confrontation, already off the field, with Joe LaCava, the only American Patrick Cantlayfor the manner in which he celebrated a 1-up victory in the fourth fourball game of the second day of Ryder Cupwhich was played in Rome.
