Date:

The Betis coach, Manuel Pellegrini He said after the 3-0 win over Valencia that, although his team had some negative results – a defeat and two draws in LaLiga, along with another lost game in Europe – the “dramatization” was not “seems logical” to him.

“We played a complete game because we scored the goals that the goalkeeper of Cádiz saved the other day. We don’t need to make a fuss about the latest results. We are not candidates for the title. We did not join (well ) ) results, but we are happy with the game,” highlighted the Chilean coach after the match.

Pellegrini also considered that “the results have many variables” and that “the function and the belief in what was done is what matters.”

Regarding Assane Diao’s second goal in his second Liga game, which served to open the scoring, the Betis coach was happy for the young 18-year-old winger, explaining that until then Betis “had a lot of dominance” . but “they had to finish with a purpose the number of plays” they generated “and, luckily, he did it.”

Asked about the change in the rest of the center back Marc Bartra, he specified that the Catalan “has a problem with his ankle” which they hope to “improve” so that he will be available for Thursday’s match in the Europa League against Sparta Prague.
