The Chilean soccer federation today presented the list of 18 selected to represent their country in the Pan American Games that will begin on October 20, led by Olympique de Lyon goalkeeper, Christiane Endler, and there are three players playing in the Spanish league and one in the Brazilian one.
Along with the winner of the award for the best goalkeeper in the world in 2022, Valencia goalkeeper Antonia Canales, the Madrid CFF defender, will be in Santiago 2023. Camila Saez and his partner is the offensive midfielder Karen Araya.
The roster of the coach, Luis Mena, is completed by the forward of Sport Bahía in Brazil, Yenni Acuña, the defender of Santiago Morning Su Helen Galaz, and several players from Colo Colo and Universidad de Chile, the two great teams in Chilean women’s soccer.
Chile, and women’s soccer, will have its premiere on October 22, at the Elías Figueroa stadium in Playa Ancha in Valparaíso, where it will face Paraguay in the first match of group A, which also includes Jamaica and Mexico.
In B, which also starts on the same day in the coastal city of Valparaiso, the favorite, the United States, competes with Venezuela, Costa Rica and Argentina.
