Last Monday at noon the presentation of the second edition of eMobility experiencewhich will take place on the weekend of October 7 and 8 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The goal is to be the most important fair in the sector in southern Europe and surpass last year’s figures, where More than 15,000 people came, 4,000 car tests were conducted on the track and 30 stands were installed of different brands.
Cupra, Tesla, Toyota, Hispano Switzerland, Nissan, Renault, Polestar and Silence are some of the brands present at the event. Throughout the weekend, people coming to the Circuit will see the latest developments in the automotive sector but also the latest models of motorcycles and electric bicycles.
Roger TorrentMinister of Business and Employment and president of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, ensures that “e-Mobility brings together the three key values of the Circuit’s Strategic Plan: more sustainable, more linked to the automotive industry and a leisure and family event“.
The fair has two objectives: to promote the purchase of electric vehicles through a fully experience-based event, where visitors can test the main brands of electric vehicles in a unique environment , and to raise awareness among the younger generation towards mobility.
Sports cars on stage
One of the highlights of the events are the big 100% electric sports cars that are nothing to envy to the more ‘traditional’ ones. One of the examples is the Hispanic Swiss Carmen 2023where MD had the opportunity to ride and cycle the Catalan route.
Attendees will be able to test cars from Lexus, Toyota, Nissan, Tesla, CUPRA and Polestar at the Circuit, while car tests in interurban areas without entering the Circuit will be conducted by Renault and Porsche. As for the motorcycle tests, Silence, Ray, Yamaha, Felo moto and Maquina moto will make them and for children Torrot, Husqvarna, KTM and Yotsuba moto. The bikes will be manufactured by Ecobike and Yamaha
Plans for young children
SX3, the Catalan children’s television channel, participates in e-Mobility with the performance of BETAs and has exclusive activities for boys and girls with the SX3 card. In this way, it increases the awareness of the younger generation towards sustainable mobility.
“We will be there because we believe it. The e-Mobility Experience and the SX3 share the values of promoting electric and sustainable mobility. This is one of our founding values and we will never lose sight of it,” said Laia Servera, head of Content for the channel.
