While in England football fans are still in disbelief at VAR’s surreal error in the Liverpool-Tottenham which deprived the ‘red’ of a very clear purpose, in English Federation (FA) thought nothing better than to give the team a huge financial penalty for what happened in the match.

Under FA regulations, any club receiving six or more cautions or sending offs will be fined. And in addition to the red cards, Mac Allister, Salah, Robertson and Virgil Van Dijk were carded, making a total of 8, in addition to assistant director Peter Krawietz.
Liverpool have now started a war against PGMOL, the body that governs referees in England, to which it sent a statement expressing its complaints after the huge VAR error against Tottenham.
