Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya e-Mobility is back, guaranteed fun for all audiences

Next week (October 7 and 8)he Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya hosts an important event for the present and future of the automotive sector, the Experience in e-Mobility, an electric mobility fair designed for all audiences, including children and young people, where the asphalt on which F1 cars compete will be the protagonist. Every motorcycle enthusiast’s dream is to drive on a track like the Circuit, and in the e-Mobility Experience it will be possible to do so. Visitors can request a test of the electric vehicles presented by the brands that will present their new products and test them on the track.

“This is the great virtue of holding a fair like this at the Circuit. Here, attendees can test drive the car, they can do it on the same track where the Formula 1 cars race, and therefore it’s a very different way of approaching it, more modern, participatory and attractive for everyone .”said Roger Torrent, Minister of Business and Employment and president of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

This experiential fair model is reflected in the many activities that will take place. Attendees will be able to test electric karts, scooters, bicycles and motorcycle and car simulators, they will have a wide gastronomic offer, live music and many children’s activities for all ages: they will enjoy the test of electric motorcycles and e-drive , a road training circuit with RACC, inflatables, drawing contest and there will even be a space for newborns. All this, to raise awareness among the youngest on the importance of electric mobility: “It is very important to target children and young people, who in the coming years will determine what the country’s mobility will be in the coming decades.”

But that’s not all. There will also be a Meet & Great with influencer Norman López for the winners of the SX3 contest and the possibility to try a car simulator helped by Norman. There will also be a BETA podcast recording of SX3 and there will be a performance and autograph signing on Sunday morning.

Attendees of this event will also be able to attend the round table ‘Electrical mobility, a more proper reality’, in which Lluís Morer, head of energy efficiency at ICAEN, Cristian Bardají, director of Mobility at RACC and Ferran Menescal will participateelectric vehicle expert.

Second edition, which exceeded 15,000 attendees

This will be the second edition of this new fair, which at its premiere in 2022 was visited by more than 15,000 people. About 4,000 car tests were conducted there. A year later, Torrent expects this data to grow, as the aforementioned growth in the number of brands that will be presented there (more than thirty).

“The e-Mobility Experience will be a benchmark in southern Europe, that’s for sure. And we are already noticing its evolution. There will be brands that are well known to most people and that now make a clear commitment to the electric car, from Cupra, obviously, to Tesla, Renault, Ford, Toyota… not only car brands., also brands and companies for all the infrastructure needed for electrification, such as electric chargers, etc. This entire ecosystem of offers around the electric vehicle, apart from helping us reposition the Circuit, from a national perspective, also helps us promote the electrification of the vehicle fleet and therefore the industry in this sector.” Torrent remarked.

“I am very sure that the 15,000 attendees from last year will repeat this year because they had so much fun last year. It is worth attending what will be the reference fair in the field of electric mobility in southern Europe and they also have something very close to home,” Torrent added about an event whose entry for adults costs only 5 euros, while for those under 16 it is only one euro (free with the SX3 card ).

“At their disposal they will have everything that is happening today in the world of electric vehicles. To have a general concept of everything that is happening in this sector, it is worth visiting e-Mobility, but I am also sure that you will have a good experience,” Torrent exclaims.

e-Mobility is presented as a mobility festival for the whole family with clear objectives: raising awareness of the importance of the electric vehicle, for attendees to know exactly how the sector and its changes, but at the same hours, so they can get to know the Circuit so they can come back to enjoy future activities and events.
