F League matchday 1 reports

Date:

Villarreal 1-3 Atlético de Madrid

CASTELLON – Well-deserved victory for Atlético in a match that could have been closed earlier. The locals had the better of their rivals in the first half, and took an early lead through Merel (2′). On the verge of half-time, Leicy finished off a rebound. At the start and when everything seemed decided, McKenna closed the gap, but Banini finally sealed the match.

Athletic Club 1-0 Granada

BILBAO – Athletic achieved its first victory of the season in front of its fans thanks to a solo goal from Ane Azkona. Despite the good play shown by the hosts and their dominance, they lacked force in the area. From the start they controlled the ball and, after today’s quarter, Azkona finished off a low pass from Elexpur. The red and white team controlled the match, and Nahikari had the best chance to score.

Sevilla 5-1 Costa Adeje Tenerife

SEVILLE – Sevilla beat Tenerife in a postponed match on the first day of the match. The Seville team started strongly and proved it with a goal from Pamela after a cross from Amanda (10′). A few minutes later, the visitors were left with 10 thanks to the dismissal of Barroso. After half an hour, Martín-Prieto scored the second and Ana Franco made it 3-1. After the restart, an own goal from Pamela added excitement to the match, but again Martín-Prieto and Gili sealed the deal.

Real Sociedad 1-1 Levante

SAN SEBASTIAN – Real and Levante shared the points in one of the highlights of the day, which was not free from controversy. The equality of the first half was broken with one of the few arrivals of txuriurdin; Franssi gives the ball to Jensen’s right-footed shot (23′). After half an hour, the referee disallowed Érika’s goal due to a protesting offside. In the second half, Érika converted the penalty against Paula F. (54′).

Eibar 1-6 Madrid CF

EIBAR – Madrid CFF won and shone as a team against Eibar in a match that lasted half an hour. The locals were able to contain Kudananji’s pace until the 34th minute, when they opened the scoring. A few minutes later, Luany scored the second to reach the break 0-2. Once again, Ana González got the match back and, although Álvarez closed the gap (75′), in extra time Paula León and Karen Araya joined the scoring party twice.

Real Madrid 5-1 Real Betis

MADRID – Real Madrid added their third victory in a match in which they were dominant from the first minutes. Oroz’s early goal (2′) marked the dynamic of the match. Despite little resistance from Betic, the Madrid team was unable to make it 2-0 until the 53rd minute; Raso was released. Feller sealed the match minutes later, and Paula Perea scored an own goal. In the final stretch, Signe Bruun also scored and Cameron scored the goal of honor.

Levante Las Planas 1-1 Sporting Huelva

BARCELONA – Las Planas had to settle for a draw after conceding in the first half. The offensive trident formed by Julve, Jessica Martínez and Irina was a problem for the visiting defense. Baudet was exactly the last to help after half an hour to go into the break 1-0. The locals had a chance to score, but on the brink of the end, Hagman tied the game with an assist from Ojeda. So, Sporting added its first point.

FC Barcelona 6-0 Valencia

BARCELONA – Barça won a match to forget Valencia. Claudia Florentino, in the 9th minute, got an own goal and, in the 21st minute, she scored her own goal again to make it 2-0 in favor of the culés. Aitana scored on the brink of half-time and, already in the second half, Mapi, Alexia and Torrejón, from direct free kicks, joined the scoring party. Brugts added his second straight start, this time starting on the left wing. The ‘ché’ team couldn’t do anything against Barcelona’s storm.
