The Slovenian Primoz Roglic (Jumbo Visma), three-time winner of the Vuelta a España and contender this Saturday in Il Lombardía, will wear the Bora Hansgrohe jersey next seasonas confirmed by the general director of the German group, Ralph Denk.
Roglic33 years old, signed for three years with a salary of 2.75 million euros per year. Bora-Hansgrohe, thanks to Redbull, which will be the main sponsor, will pay 3 million euros to buy back the contract of Jumbo-Visma, where Roglic first had a contract until 2026.
The 2023 Giro winner enjoyed the change of sceneryand have high ambitions for the future.
“I’m looking forward to taking this step, although for me the change of team is a bit like new territory. The good memories of our meeting years ago made the conversations easier. But the decisive thing is that the team is really motivated to work with me, because we share the same ideas.”Roglic said.
Roglic will have teammates the Russian Aleksandr Vlasov, the Australian Jai Hindley and the young Belgian Cian Uijtdebroeks, as a primary reference.
