A goal from Diego Gómez in extra time served justice for a Fuenlabrada team that wanted to win more than a Sabadell team that lost in the second half.
The crowd said goodbye with whistles and the first shouts of ‘Miki, go now’ in reference to the local coach for a poor start to the season with four defeats in seven games.
Miki Lladó surprised from the start by leaving David Astals, the starter, on the bench, not only this season but throughout 2023. Fuenlabrada dedicated themselves to locking themselves in the first half and letting the ball to a Sabadell team that had a great first option with a shot by Antonio Moyano, one of the standouts, deflected by Belman, the best of the Madrid team in the first half.
In the last action of the first half, Harlequinados had a triple opportunity of Marcos Baselga, Manel Martínez and Antonio Moyano that was stopped by a Belman goal to the desperation of the locals.
The second part is another history. Fuenla took a step forward and soon Dani Nieto warned his shot was too high. Fer Ruiz also tried it with the same fate. Sabadell made five changes, but even the effect of Astals – with the only shot of the second half from a long distance – did not work.
Fuenla improved even more with the changes, and particularly with the introduction of Diego Gómez in the 58th minute. The forward warned with a shot against the post when it was 0-1. The goal was made to wait until the 91st minute when a mistake by Vladys resulted in a cross that Diego headed into the top corner. Cries of ‘Miki go away now’ were the last song of a sad Sabadell match.

Success ‘in extremis’ for Real Unión to stay awake
A further goal by Antonio Escobar prevented Tarazona from leaving Irún with a point. Luck is smiling on the unionist team this season. He manages to win matches in the final stages, something that didn’t happen years ago. Molo’s men started strongly, owning possession and the clearest chance. Fer Cano and Cubillas managed to put the visitors ahead in the first half, but Unión responded with two headers from Vidorreta and Eimil. The course changed after the break. The locals came out on top and created more danger. During the game, Escobar warned Azón twice of his intentions. Tarazona pulled back and Real Unión kept getting closer to the rival goal, until the winning goal was scored in the 93rd minute. Striker Escobar left the cold Tarazona sinking and now alone at the bottom.

La Cultural won thanks to a penalty in the final period
La Cultural and Rayo Majadahonda went to the Kingdom of León with the same game plan. They both want to be the star and to do this they need to be the owner of the ball. The first time was for the Leonese in an action between Martín Solar, Calderón and Escudero. The response came from Tavares who forced goalkeeper Bañuz to intervene. In the 34th minute, Martín Solar, with a perfect shot, beat Dani Pérez to make it 1-0. With this result and with a clear opportunity for Escudero for Cultural, the first half ended. At the start, Raúl Llona’s team dominated. In fact, Calderón’s shot hit the crossbar of Dani’s goal. Rayo Majadahonda took advantage of a set piece to score on Bañuz’s only goal. But as the game expired, Calderón’s play ended with a penalty converted by Samanes.

A terrible Dépor hit rock bottom against Celta Fortuna
Deportivo suffered their second straight defeat of the season against Celta Fortuna, leaving them further weakened in the fight for promotion. The A Coruña team, still unable to win on its own field, was clearly outmatched by the celestial reserve team, who stole the ball from the locals, dominated, suffocated Herculinos with aggressive pressure and took advantage of the technical its quality to get all three. points.
Pablo Durán scored 0-1 in an action that he himself started and ended, after the rebound, with a volley from the far post.
After the break, Dépor improved a bit and took control, but their predictable football did not trouble a very comfortable Celta Fortuna, with the locals only creating a few risks from set pieces.
The defeat left Dépor and coach Imanol Idiakez, deeply moved, about who was in doubt.

Lugo returned from Pamplona with points in their pocket
Lugo again met with success at the expense of Osasuna Promesas. The Galicians started well, as Nacho Quintana immediately opened the scoring by taking advantage of the ball in the six-yard box. After half an hour, Willy made the score 0-2, but his shot hit the crossbar. On the part of the red reserve team, Max Svensson managed to equalize with a counterattack, but Lucas avoided it. In the second half, Max had the equalizer again, but he hit the post. And a possible tie went to 0-2 when Víctor Narro sent the ball into the net after a corner. Again, Svensson, the most active in the reserve team, tried to surprise Lucas. And then it was Eneko who looked to reduce the difference with a shot against the crossbar. I looked for it and eventually Osasuna found the goal, thanks to Unai Buján’s breakthrough. And in the 85th minute he almost made it 2-2 with a shot that hit the crossbar. And in addition, Sabit missed the sentence by crashing into the post.
