The Catalan adri arnaus started his career on Thursday with a 72 stroke (2 over par) card PGA Championshipthe second Grand Slam of the 2022 golf season, played at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa (Oklahoma, USA).

Arnaus, 27, started his round on the 10th hole and at par 3 of the 11th he signed a double bogey, which he corrected with birdies on 16, 5 and 6 to put himself under par in the tournament with – 1. But three consecutive bogeys at 7, 8 and 9, the final holes of his return, prevented him from beating the Tulsa course and he finished the day with 72 (+2).

Adri, who earned the right to be included in the PGA after making it into the top 100 of the ranking, which he endorsed by winning the Catalunya Championship, shared the fight with American Colin Inglis and Japanese Jinichiro Kozuma. He also qualified for the US Open and almost the British Open.

World number 2, Jon Rahm, in the main against Americans Scottie Scheffler (1) and Collin Morikawa (3), started his first round in 20:36; Sergio García did it at 9:09 pm with South African Charl Schwartzel and Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick.
