The French newspaper L’Equipe discovered a new clause in the contract of Xavi Simonsplayer in debt to RB Leipzig for PSG to recover from him PSV for several million euros this past summer to be loaned to the Bundesliga club.
According to the aforementioned media, this clause discovered today will allow PSV to collect some money if PSG decides to sell the 20-year-old player before a certain date, which has not yet been reached. It seems that the Parisian club has no intention of selling the former Barça player, who has a contract until June 2027.
Yesterday, German ‘Bild’ announced that if Leipzig want to extend Simons’ loan contract (as is the case), the Bundesliga club must guarantee the player’s playing time and qualification for the Champions League.
