The Balearic Government gave Rafa Nadal a commemorative poster of his 21 Grand Slam trophies clearly designed to celebrate that success.
The regional executive and Nadal agreed after the man’s victory from Manacor at the Australian Open to organize a public act of recognition, but the agenda of the tennis player became impossible to set a date and it was ruled.
For that occasion, the Government instructed the design cabinet of Studio Roses to prepare a graphic work of which a copy was sent to the player on Friday, preparing for his participation in Roland Garros.
The poster, released by the regional executive along with an explanatory statement, the surname of the honored is represented in large capital letters followed by the number 21 upside down where 1 is synonymous with Nadal’s “l”.
Above the letters are two drawings of the aerial view of Nadal who won his first major tournament in 2005 and of the tennis player in his current appearance. Both figures are in an attitude of disputing a point in ball play.
Above the poster is the text “You are sports history” and below is a list of the 21 Grand Slam tournaments he has won.
