Carlos Alcaraz witnessed the victory of Real Murcia CT against RCT Barcelona, 4-3, in the final of the National men’s team. The title that tied the week won by the women’s team, was also played at home.
Jaume Munar, Dani Rincón and Oriol Roca advanced in RCTB, but Murcia responded with victories from Pablo Llamas and Andrea Pellegrino against Pedro Cachín and Albert Ramos, respectively.
The locals won both doubles, the final with Pablo Llamas and Andreda Pellegrino against Jaume Munar and Feli López by 7-6 (5), 4-6 and 10-8 in a super tiebreak.
In RCT’s opening triplet, Munar defeated Ivan Gakhov 6-2, 6-1, Daniel Rincón defeated Nikolás Sánchez-Izquierdo 6-4, 7-5, and Oriol Roca defeated Javier Barranco 6-2 6- 3.
The local comeback was started by Pablo Llamas and Andrea Pellegrino against Argentine Pedro Cachín (7-6(0), 4-6, 6-3) and Albert Ramos (6-4 6-4), respectively.
With Javier Barranco and David Vega winning over Íñigo Cervantes and Oriol Roca, 7-6 (3) and 6-3, the score became 3-3, which was broken in the aforementioned supertiebreak of the second and final doubles and match of the final.

In a tie to avoid direct relegation, Club Atlético Montemar defeated Cercle Sabadellès 1856 4-1. The Catalans are relegated and the Alicante team will play for promotion against the runner-up “B”.
CT Chamartín, CT Tarragona, Real Club de Polo and CT Valencia, champions of the two previous editions, retain the category.
