NAPA Racing Weekend has confirmed the participation of 94 drivers from 34 different countries to close the season in the Catalan territory with events in F4 Spain, EuroCup 3 and Clio Cup Series. The end of the year at the Circuit looks more exciting than ever, with plenty of battles for points to win champion crowns.

Just this Thursday, The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya brought together some of the main characters of the weekendyoung drivers accompanied by important personalities of national motorsports, who do not want to miss the event to show their support for emerging talent and to continue an important legacy in the world of motorsport.

The past, present and future are represented thanks to the presence of, on the one hand, young talents Bruno del Pino, Eric Gené and Lydia Sempere; and on the other hand that of references of the stature of Pedro de la Rosa, Jordi Gené and Belén García. They all shared a few moments of confessions and sensations before offering a most important image for national motorsport.

Eric Gené, son of Jordi Gené, is one of the participants in F4 Spaina contest in which the French pilot with a Spanish license Theophile Nael (Saintéloc Racing) could be crowned champion of the campaign. The young Catalan driver seems to be continuing the Gené legacy, completing a first season with excellent results.

Bruno del Pino arrives in Barcelona,​​​​his home race, as the new EuroCup 3 rookie champion, a result he achieved in the last event in Valencia. Pedro de la Rosa’s nephew is on course to become a major figure in national motorsport, following in the footsteps of his uncle and former F1 driver. This championship also had an unexpected last-minute guest, Emmo Fittipaldi, the son of Emerson Fittipaldi, who is enrolled in Palou Motorsport.

Lydia Sempere, for her part, will not miss the outcome of the Clio Cup Series. Although David Pouget is already a mathematical champion, The trophies of the Clio Cup Europe or Clio Cup France cups are still at stake, also in the Spanish edition. Sempere, a female regular at the event, has now received the support of Belén García, current endurance driver and F4 Spain female champion in 2019, showing her close connection to the event.

This Friday, all participants will have their first contact with the asphalt of the World Cup and will compete in the first free tests of the weekend. On Saturday they will give way to the official program, including the first rounds of timing and racing, which will conclude on Sunday. Access for the public is on the 11th and 12th.

Tickets for the event can be purchased on the Circuit website at a price of €10 (plus administration fees). These tickets are sold in the form of a pass for both days of action (both Saturday and Sunday) and include general access to the track and all its open stands, as well as access to the paddock.

Access to the Circuit

Fans can access the Circuit via gate 7 on both Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am They will be able to park their cars in the nearest car park, car park A, and enjoy the track activity from Grandstands N and G, both in the Stadium area.

Attendees can walk from the Stadium area to the paddock, using the stairs located behind the green area of ​​the old heliport and picnic area. Via these stairs you can walk down the main access tunnel to the Circuit petrol station roundabout and enter the paddock.
