Canada became the eighth country to take the top spot since the rankings were introduced in November 2002. The list is completed by Slovakia, France, Russia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Australia and Switzerland.
Also notable in the classification was the place won by the Czech Republic, the 2023 semi-finalist, who rose from fifth to fourth position, while Switzerland, the 2022 champion, fell to third after being replaced by Canada in first place.

The current ranking covers a five-year period while the 2020 and 2021 seasons have been combined as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
