Espanyol B regained victory after four games at the expense of Sant Andreu thanks to a solo goal from Joan Puig.

Sant Andreu started the first half better but lacked attacking determination. As the minutes ticked by, the encounter became even but neither of them enjoyed good chances, although the Parakeets took the lead thanks to Joan Puig’s goal. Javi Hernández, with a wonderful pass, helped the parakeet defender, who defined with his head, after stopping from the second line that left the four-bar defense in position.

In the second action, the reserve team maintains a dynamic defensive security, disrupting any visiting opportunities. With good pressure in the opposite field and looking to widen distances with direct balls, the Parakeets did not suffer. Josu’s entry breathed fresh air into a disorganized and clueless Sant Andreu. The attacks were few and they only had one chance: a shot by Ernest Forgas that went wide.
