Scheffler, champion of Augusta Masters in 2022achieved two eagles and four birdies for one bogey and delivered a card of 65 strokes, seven under par.
Fitzpatrick also went six under par on the third day and is now second, while Jordan Spieth, who was co-leader on Friday, dropped despite his -1.
Woods, in his first tournament since the Augusta Masters, continued his good performance on Friday, going a -2. This Saturday he signed -1, the result of five birdies and four bogeys.
Tiger, 47 years old and winner of 15 majors in his career, has played just two tournaments this year: the Masters and the Genesis Invitational.
The American golfer stressed upon his arrival at the Bahamas tournament that he remains convinced that he can win tournaments and that is why he has decided to continue playing.
Tiger underwent surgery in April for an ankle injury, where he has been experiencing discomfort since suffering a serious road accident in 2021.
