The ‘reds’ chose a historic quadruplet in England but, after winning the League Cup and FA Cup, on Sunday they were just a point away from reaching the Premier, which was finally won by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. On Saturday they have a chance to end the season with a treble if they beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Saint-Denis.
“When you win these kinds of awards, you are either a genius or you have the best staff with you. I am with my entire coaching staff. I don’t believe in individual awards in football, it’s a team sport and it doesn’t make sense without these people, ”after being honored by the English Coaches Association.
