The teams that did not finish in the first two places in their group European Leaguebut who finished in third position will continue to play in the European competition, in Conference League. They will play in the round of 32 against a second runner-up from that competition and in the second leg away from home.
The eight teams are: Olympiacos, Ajax, Betis, Sturm Graz, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, Maccabi Haifa, Servette and Molde.
And their rivals are one of the Conference League’s eight secondary groups: Slovan Bratislava, Ghent, Dinamo Zagreb, Bodo/Glimt, Legia Warsaw, Ferencvaros, Eintracht Frankfurt and Ludogorets.
