This is a rumor that has every sign of being official. And it did this Wednesday: Nottingham Forest announced the arrival of the Portuguese Nuno Holy Spirit as the new coach after Steve Cooper was fired recently. Nuno is without a team after being sacked from Al-Ittihad in November due to disagreements with Karim Benzema and a five-game winless streak.
“Nuno has joined the club on a two-and-a-half-year contract and will take charge of his first game on Saturday when Forest take on Bournemouth at The City Ground,” Forest wrote in their statement. “The new manager will oversee his first training session with the team this morning as he prepares for Saturday’s Premier League clash.”
