High demand for tickets for Tenerife-UD Las Palmas after Reyes, January 7

CD Tenerife already experienced this Thursday “technical problem” on its website, when managing the sale of tickets for its subscribers for the match between the blue and white team and UD Las Palmas in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey on January 7.

At the same time, and from the morning, more than a hundred people lined up at the ticket offices from the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium despite the rain, to guarantee a ticket for the derby without relying on the website.

“The ‘online’ sales service has developed technical problems so that subscribers can recover their ticket from the #CopaDelRey #derbicanario. We are working to correct this incident. Sorry for the inconvenience,” the official CD Tenerife account published on its X account (formerly Twitter).

Throughout the morning, all subscribers who clicked on the tickets tab of The club’s website has been redirected to an error pagelater in an apology message and, finally, on the main page of the website, without it being possible to buy the tickets at any time.

On December 14, and after learning that the cup match would pit the two main Canarian teams against each other, CD Tenerife announced that admission would be charged for its subscribers, with prices for adults that from 15 euros in the Popular stand, 20 euros in Herradura, 25 in the San Sebastián stand and 35 euros in the Grandstand.

The tickets for general public will have a cost of 35, 45, 55 and 80 eurosrespectively, in the aforementioned positions.
