For FIFA, and as stated in the same circular, “this proposal is Not compatible including previous court decisions from other countries, the CAS award and previous decisions in Germany, including those issued by appeal courts.

But as justified in the letter, in order to comply with the said proposal, FIFA understands that the application of this resolution only in the European Union will cause a situation of inequality in the legal framework of the international system of transfer relations, especially that, between Europe and the rest of the world. In this case, it promotes the competitive balance, and so this Saturday the Council Bureau approved this suspension of the RFAF Regulation until the Court of Justice of the European Union makes a definitive decision on the pending procedures related to said regulation. .
