After the end of its commercial alliance with Alfa Romeo, Sauber’s Swiss structure will give its team a new name for the 2024 and 2025 F1 seasons. At first, it seemed that its new name would be Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, but the team has already announced that it will reveal the final name on New Year’s Day. And so it happened. The team is now called the Stake F1 Team, using the name of its main sponsor, a betting and entertainment house.
It should be remembered that in 2026 the Swiss structure of Sauber will be part of the new Audi team, so Stake took advantage of his separation from Alfa Romeo to give his name to the team for two seasons before his connection with the firm of the ring
“Last season represented the beginning of Stake’s journey in Formula One, and the brand’s new role at the helm of the Stake F1 team represents the natural and exciting next step on this path. Not only has the stake successfully used Formula One’s growing fan base to improve its own community; “But it also introduced a whole new audience to the sport, something that benefited not only our team but also everyone in F1,” he commented.
