Daniel Maldini, son of the legendary Paolo Maldini, has changed teams. The 22-year-old Italian midfielder ended his loan at Empoli, penultimate classified in Serie A, and Monza, 11th in the table, today announced his arrival on loan from Milan, his training club and where his father conducted his whole glorious career.
It is the third loan in a row for Daniel Maldini, who has a contract with Milan until June 2024, who played the whole of last season for Spezia, who ended up being relegated to Serie B.
Half season at Empoli
This season, when he finally got going in recent days, he unexpectedly broke his loan contract at Empoli, where he arrived last summer.
Maldini could make his debut this Saturday in Monza’s Serie A match at home to none other than leaders Inter, Milan’s eternal rivals.
