Juventus Turin reached the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia after a comfortable win over Frosinone (4-0) where Arkaduisz Milik stood out from the rest by scoring a hat trick.
Massimiliano Allegri’s team, which continues to grow stronger, started as favourites, and despite the rotation of Dusan Vlahovic, who came off in the second half, he had no problem eliminating his rival. The difference is palpable from the start. Not only did the old lady take the initiative, but Frosinone didn’t even dare to create a real danger to Perin’s goal throughout the match.
There are four goals, but there may be more. Milik opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a penalty after Pol Lirola brought down Miretti in a fine personal move. An advantage that helped the team play with ease and personality. Although it was clearly superior, the second, also by Milik after a good service from McKennie, did not come until almost half an hour (38′).
Frosinone’s only option was to surprise when coming out of the locker room, but it was the opposite. Within a minute Cerofolini prevented Juve’s third, which came on the next play when Milik scored at will after a gift from Locatelli and sealed the match (48′). And the hat trick could be poker, but this time the Pole’s goal was not added to the scoreboard due to offside.
None other than the young Yildiz joined Milik’s party, who left great impressions and scored the fourth volley in the first touch (61′), leaving everything resolved. The rest of the half hour was a pure formality in which Juventus flirted with fifth, but in the end it did not arrive despite the many chances that the team, who will play in the semifinals against Lazio, enjoyed.
