“Today was a day to gain some more positions and get a good result on the stage, because we started in a good position and the type of terrain suited us, but as soon as we started we had an electrical problem .It was very difficult for us to pass the sand dunes in the first part of the route and we lost a lot of time there, about 15 minutes,” lamented the Astara Team driver.
After trying to fix the bug before the second section of the special, Laia Sanz and Maurizio Gerini They tried to find the source of the failure without success, but miraculously the engine of the Astara 02 Concept returned to normal operation: “We did not understand the reason, but, in the second part, the engine worked properly again. and was able to we’re racing.
