Marc André ter Stegen collected the award crediting him with the fewest goals scored in a Liga final during the 76th Mundo Deportivo Grand Gala held at the Palau de Congressos. FC Barcelona’s German international goalkeeper, who is still recovering from his injury, assured the award holder that he has a “good feeling” ahead of his return to the field of play.
Although he did not speak about the dates, Ter Stegen explained to Edgar Fornós, presenter of the Grand MD Gala, that “I have returned to the field to train more specifically with the objective.”
Regarding his experience as a spectator of the team, he admitted that he “suffered more outside than inside” the grass. “Surely, you suffer from the outside, especially in games like yesterday’s against Betis,” he acknowledged.
Ter Stegen, who chatted with culé president Joan Laporta, revealed that they both feel “very happy to bring us victory.” Finally, he was asked about the pregnancy of his partner, Daniela. “My wife is fine, theoretically she has been away for two weeks…” he revealed.
