The new season begins with renewed hope Movistar team. The phone group presents a staff of additions where it aims to take a step up in quality to aspire to more. Enric Mas will again command the Movistar team in an ambitious double Tour-Vuelta in Spain. After last year’s disappointment when he was forced to leave the Tour due to a fall in the first stage, Mas will come to the event with the necessary maturity to aim for anything. At 29 years old, he wants to reach the top of a grand tour.
Enric will start at the beginning of March in Tyrrhenian-Adriatic. A test level where you will find important rivals like Jonas Vingegaard, Lennard Kamna or Juan Ayuso. Later he will start the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya and the Tour de Romandía. On June 29 he will start his Tour de France journey and once it finishes he will have more than two weeks to recover for the Vuelta a España.
