Late Sunday, the Catalan Federation of Penyes del Espanyol (FCPE) released a very harsh statement after the humiliating defeat of Luis Miguel Ramis’ team against Eldense (3-2).
In the said text, the followers of the parakeet demand the immediate eviction of the blue and white coach, the signing of reinforcements in the winter market and, if they do not arrive, the stopping the sports director, Fran Garagarza.
This is full text from the statement:
“After 24 days of the League, with the men’s first team from the areas giving the option of direct promotion to the First Division and removed from the Copa del Rey, the FCPE wishes to do the following consideration:
-We are in a complicated time, where we cannot allow ourselves in any way don’t go up of category.
-We believe that Ramis did not improve the numbers of Luis García and the game of the group is terrible, causing the team to have very poor home results and very average home results. We request the dismissing Ramis because it is not the stimulus that seeks the team to be at the top of the classification.
-The winter market is only a few days away but for now, and despite not meeting sporting expectations, no reinforcements arrived in the form of a sign to help redirect the situation and the future is not optimistic. We asked the sports director, sir Fran Garagarzato be forced to put solution to this problem or, if not, yours stopping because it is not known how to put together the squad that Espanyol needs to move up to the First Division.
-We ask the property a firm and immediate action to make a radical change in the structure of the club. We can’t afford it one more year in Second.
Are all of these a drama? If you look at the classification it may seem not, because right now the team is still at the top. But don’t let the trees cover the forest for us. The team has no direction and without it it is almost impossible to achieve the goal of moving up to the First Division.
